ARP cylinder head studs High quality 8740 CrMo alloy. Tensile strength of 1380 N/mm² (compared to a standard 10.9 screw only has a tensile strength of approx. 900 N/mm²). After hardening, the thread is rolled on, allowing 10 times the fatigue strength. Advantage over conventional cylinder head bolts: The tightening load is shifted from the engine block to the bolt heads. This protects the thread surfaces in the engine block.

Athena Cooperring seal BMW M20 Cooper Ring cylinder head gaskets were specially developed for extreme loads in turbo and supercharged engines. The multi-layer seal has a stainless steel core embedded in an aramid fiber bed. An additional silicone seam on the sealing surfaces ensures the perfect seal. The combustion chamber is sealed by a combustion ring made of 304 AISI stainless steel. This means that the seal can withstand the toughest demands and high boost pressures of up to over 1.5 bar
